Welcome to JTStores — a subscription marketplace where local sellers, home businesses, and customers connect. By using our website, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use JTStores
- Customers can browse, add to cart, checkout, track orders, rate products, and request returns on the main website.
- Sellers register for a store workspace, list products (subject to approval), manage orders, wallet, and subscription plans.
- You must be 18+ and provide accurate information when creating an account.
2. Marketplace role
JTStores is a platform — sellers are independent businesses responsible for product quality, packaging, and fulfilment. JTStores facilitates discovery, payments (where enabled), and order communication but is not the manufacturer of seller-listed goods unless stated otherwise.
3. Seller subscriptions & trial
- New sellers may start with a 14-day free trial to explore the store console.
- After trial, paid plans (monthly / quarterly / half-year / yearly) apply as shown on the upgrade page and in platform settings.
- Subscription fees are for platform access; they do not guarantee sales or listing approval.
4. Orders & payments
- Customers may pay via Cash on Delivery (COD) or online methods where offered by the seller/platform.
- Prices, delivery charges, and availability are shown at checkout.
- Placing an order creates a binding purchase request; sellers must fulfil or cancel per platform rules.
5. Prohibited conduct
You may not list counterfeit goods, mislead buyers, abuse reviews, attempt unauthorized access, or use the platform for unlawful activity. JTStores may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. For questions, use Help & Support or WhatsApp chat on the site.
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect on JTStores and how we use it for shopping, selling, and account security.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), role (customer / seller).
- Seller data: business name, GST (optional), product listings, wallet and payout details.
- Order data: delivery address, items, payment type, order status, reviews and return requests.
- Technical data: browser, device, session cookies needed for login, cart, and wishlist.
How we use it
- Process orders, subscriptions, and seller payouts (via payment partners such as Razorpay where configured).
- Show your order history, trial countdown, and store dashboard.
- Moderate listings, prevent fraud, and improve the marketplace experience.
- Send service messages (order updates, trial expiry) — not spam.
Sharing
We share necessary details with sellers (to fulfil your order) and payment providers (to complete transactions). We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
Your choices
- Update profile from My profile after sign-in.
- Request account deletion or data correction via Help & Support.
- Use sign-in as Customer vs Seller so you only access the workspace you need.
Security & retention
We use industry-standard practices to protect sessions and API tokens. Order and tax records may be retained as required by law even after account closure.
Fair returns build trust between local sellers and customers. This policy covers refunds, replacements, and subscription billing on JTStores.
Customer product returns
- Eligible after delivery for damaged, wrong, defective, or not-as-described items — request from My orders → Order details.
- Return window and pickup depend on seller category; most items: 7 days from delivery unless marked non-returnable.
- Refunds go to original payment method or wallet credit; COD orders may receive bank/UPI refund after pickup verification.
- Opened consumables, personalized goods, or hygiene products may not be returnable if safety seals are broken.
Cancellations
- Orders in Placed status can often be cancelled before shipping — use order details or contact support.
- Once shipped, cancellation may not be possible; you may refuse COD delivery or follow return flow after delivery.
Seller subscription refunds
- Free trial: no charge during the 14-day period; upgrade anytime from the store dashboard.
- Paid plans: generally non-refundable once activated, except where required by law or at JTStores discretion for billing errors.
- Charge disputes: email support with transaction ID within 7 days of payment.
How to request help
Use the return form on your order, WhatsApp live chat (bottom-right), or open Help & Support. Include order ID and photos for faster resolution.
